This page contains printable PDF reference sheets for Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 Edition and for Dungeons and Dragons 3.0 Edition. There are now supplementary sheets for the spells found in the Book of Exalted Deeds and the Book of Vile Darkness. All the files are in PDF. They are grouped into a single ZIP for ease of download. The reason for this is to save both space and download capacity. Please consult the FAQ for further information on these particular file types.

There are two file groups. One group is reference sheets for DnD 3.5 and the other is reference sheets for DnD 3.0. They are firstly grouped as individual files, if you just want one or two, and secondly grouped as one large file which contains everything for that edition. I think that the easiest way to download these files would be to get everything at once in this one large file.
The method of retrieving these files is to right mouse click over the link to the file that you want, and then select 'Save Target As' to download the file to your computer. You will then need to unzip the file to allow viewing of the individual PDF files. If the download was a PDF then launch Acrobat Reader and have a look at the format.

Q : Will I be doing quick reference sheets for the other spell books?
A : No, not at the present time.

Q : Why do Wizards and Sorcerers have the same spell sheet?
A : Sorcerers use the same spells as Wizards, they just cast fewer spells more often, please use the same sheets.
Q : I am having problems printing, the pages are cropped, any suggestions?
A : The sheets are designed to fit on a regular A4 paper. When printing the PDF documents, use shrink/expand/center options to get best results. Printer drivers often have 'scale to fit paper size' options etc., so you could try them also.
In Acrobat Reader use menu item, File -> Print -> Tick the 'fit to page' option -> (Print) Click OK Button.
Q : I am having problems printing, I would like to print two sheets on one page, any suggestions?
A : In my games I actually will print the spell lists out as two per page and back to back, this means that I have 4 spell pages on one sheet of paper. I find this convenient and there is no thumbing through pages. If you would like to print these pages in a similar manner you can do this in Acrobat Reader by using the following settings when you print.
In Acrobat Reader use menu item, File -> Print -> Tick the 'fit to page' option -> Printer Properties -> Finishing Tab -> Document Options -> Tick the 'Print on Both sides' option -> Change the 'Pages per Sheet' to read 2 'Pages per Sheet' -> (Properties) Click OK -> (Print) Click OK

The resulting pages should appear as the image here on the right, with two pages printed on the sheet, side by side, and if you turn over the sheet the remaining two pages are printed on the back.

Q : What does zipped mean?
A : Zipped means that the files have been compressed using a compression program called PKZIP or WINZIP. These files have the extension .zip. This is the most popular compression software available and is the internet's defacto standard. If you would like to download Winzip then click here. Usually you will find that it has been preinstalled on your computer.
Q : What is PDF?
A : PDF is a document format, it stands for 'Portable Document Format'. There are free viewers available. The most popular is Acrobat Reader which you can download from the Adobe website. If you would like to download Acrobat Reader then click here. Usually you will find that it has been preinstalled on your computer.
Q : Where did this layout idea develop?
A : The layout style for these pages came from an idea by Joonas Hirvonen in August 2001 on a Geocities site [long since gone]. Some pages are still available at click here. I edited, updated, and modified his 3.0 versions to those available above in 2003. I created the 3.5 versions, as original work, in the same style in October 2003 after the 3.5 release in July 2003. There have been only minor updates and edits since then.
